We value women's intimate health
A community where women can communicate freely, breaking down all taboos concerning female intimate disorders, while getting constant support from doctors and users.
DEKA Intimate, an information journalism brand dedicated to women, is born. A collaborative relationship with specialised doctors and professionals, in which to discuss atrophy, vaginal dryness, dyspareunia, urinary incontinence, chronic pelvic pain and vulvodynia.
Symptoms that affect many women in different age groups, from menopause, to post-partum, to adolescence, who can find information, patient experiences and expert medical advice here. Here, we want to create an environment of information and confrontation, where it is possible to finally break down the barriers around topics that are still not easy to talk about.
For over 10 years, we have been supporting the work of doctors with revolutionary devices and non-invasive methods to improve women’s intimate health. After the experience of MonaLisa Touch, the laser that revolutionised the intimate health of millions of women around the world, DEKA continued the journey by introducing other revolutionary treatments aimed at reducing the symptoms of genito-urinary syndrome. Today, solutions exist.
Urinary incontinence
It is among the most common female problems in women aged 35 and over and seriously impairs quality of life. It can be of various types and levels: from exertion (laughing or coughing, lifting weights), from urgency (involuntary loss of urine caused by a lack of control of the urge to urinate by the brain), mixed (presenting incontinence from exertion and urge together) or from regurgitation (appears when the bladder is so full that the internal pressure is greater than that of the urethra).
